About The Event:

Create tiny dolls with colourful personalities at the Small World DIY Worry Dolls Workshop. Inspired by the worry doll tradition of Guatemala, these miniature companions carry a comforting story. According to tradition, people share their worries with the dolls before placing them under their pillow at night. Learn to wrap, dress and decorate your own little dolls using colourful threads and fabric. Give each one a unique look and a story of its own. No previous crafting experience is needed. Enjoy conversations and Small World icebreakers as you create alongside fellow makers. Come solo or bring a friend and take home handmade worry dolls to keep or gift to someone you care about.
